Lowest Profile Helmet

The title basically says it all, which helmet out there has the lowest profile? Not necessarily the lightest helmet but which one sits the lowest on your head. I have a feeling that it will be the BD Vapor but I'm not too certain on that. I currently rock the old BD half dome and kind of want to get a different helmet. I am mostly just curious as to which helmet has the lowest profile.

Thoughts?

I’ve tried on quite a few helmets, the Vapor is definitely the lowest profile I’ve found so far. It also “vaporizes” pretty easy....

Yeah that's what I've heard, not particularly confidence inspiring. So what's the next one in line? The Sirocco helmet?

I’ve settled with the Vector. All Petzl helmets make my head look like a penis.

Haha I will speak no more about that subject... I do think the Vector (not the Vapor) is a very good low profile helmet though. I also recently purchased the MIPS one, which is a nice to have feature.

Here are a couple photos of my retired Vapor.

The Mammut Wall Rider is pretty low profile as well

sounds like ur looking for a reason to not wear one, but I wear the Petzl boreal helmet which is nice and compact, not sure if any helmet will be low profile tho.

I second this, I really like this helmet's profile and it has a good balance between weight and protection as well.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
