I typically wear a 42 or 8.5 in street shoes, 43.5 or 9.5 in my Scarpas, and 5.10 Grandstones. Seems like I would have needed the 43.5 in these too, I tried on a pair of another model (Kronos I think) in a 43 and the fit seemed good, then special ordered the General in that size to find they are a bit tight.

My street shoe is 10.5; all my climbing shoes are either 10 or 10.5. My Generals are 11.5 ... and they're still kinda tight, a 12 would have been the all-day fit. Not sure how that works, but that's how it's works for me.
