David Nwrote: Just clothes and shoes, but still rad , lots of the common sizes were moving fast. I don’t know how these folks consistently have sales like this. I’m glad it’s not all the time, my wallet can’t take it. Thread derail over. |

Sportiva Albigna soft shell for $62.xx, “pine” color only. I have not used this specific jacket, but I have a few other Sportiva items, and they are some of the best-fitting jackets I own. |

BD Raven ice axe in most sizes for $43. !! https://www.blackdiamondequipment.com/en_US/raven-ice-axe-BD410151000065_1.html |

A reasonable sale here, though on very limited items. Not a ton of climbing stuff on sale but an x4 .4/.5 offset for $45, an Adjama harness in XL for $42, etc. use code DOUBLETHEFUN on checkout. shipping and tax will eat up the savings, but might be worth it if you find a few other things as well. |

Many MJ items are currently not on sale, but piling on my $20 Rakuten link, 4.5% cash back, and $20 guaranteed MJ rewards for a purchase of $75+ brings things much closer to a great deal right before Christmas! And I appreciate any referal link usage because it helps a poor college student and aspiring trad climber get ever closer to building a barebones rack lol. |

https://madrock.com/ is still running a sale on a lot of shoes and gear. Prices are still the same as they were on Black Friday. Their climbing shoes are inexpensive in general and with 50% or more sale its a great deal. One problem is - their return policy is so-so. You have to either call them or fill return form by yourself, then wait (hopefully) until they get your return and process it and only after that you'll (hopefully) get your refund. Shipping costs are on you. And for all sale items you can only get store credit. So I suggest you to buy something you're confident with. As always sizing is crazy and it's not a lot of reviews that can help with sizing. In my case I have to return Mad Rock Lyra. Bought for my wife. Her street shoe size 7, we bought size 8.5 and length wise they were OK, but too wide for her. BUT one shoe I can not recommend more! https://madrock.com/collections/sale/products/topo-2-0 - just amazing approach \ lightweight trail shoes. sizing is ok, and they feel very good, I wear them everywhere/. One of the best sneakers I've ever had! |

Alex Costawrote: What size did you get with respect to street shoe? I’ve seen everything from half down to half up in the reviews. |

Sportiva G2SM for $510 at S&C, looks like they have all sizes as of right now. https://www.steepandcheap.com/la-sportiva-g2-sm-mountaineering-boot-mens |

Doug Chismwrote: My street shoe size is 10.5 or 11 depending on the shoe and all my Evolvs are size 11 which is a perfect fit for me. Most of their shoes are synthetic and won't stretch at all, but the nighthawk and Generals are part leather so they'll stretch a bit. My Generals and Supras are both 11s but the Generals are definitely looser now than the Supras after the break in period since the leather stretched. Still a perfect fit for a trad shoe though, as they can edge really well and are still comfortable for jamming. |

Bryan Kwrote: Cool thx, going with SS size, too good a deal to pass up. |

Doug Chismwrote: If they have a good return policy, buy a size 1/2-1 up also, if you want any chance at a comfort fit. Evolv at SS size are single-pitch shoes for many. |
