I'm selling my "The Rock" tread wall. The wall is in Asheville NC local pick up would be preferred but I can probably ship it almost anywhere.

The asking price is high, but I'm willing to negotiate a bit. The wall is in perfect condition, with both manual controls and pre set circuits.

Below is the Craigslist post, let me know if you have any questions.

Hi, I'm also looking to buy one of these for a reasonable price whether it's working or in need of a little love. I'm in the US and will drive almost anywhere to pick one up now that gas is super cheap and I have some free time. I'm most interested in the larger one if possible. Does anyone know roughly how many of these were made? How much do they normally sell for? Outside of this forum, information about these is really sparse. My email address is aforrister1@gmail.com Thanks! Andrew

Does anyone know how to bypass the password??? I can only use the preprogrammed routes on the software which determines incline, distance etc.

Just FYI if anyone needs the software and preprogrammed routes that came with the ROCK, I can upload to it to you.

Mine still runs but I really do have to open it up and grease it up.

Maybe 15 years ago I would have had a better idea but don't remember how it's built any more.

* when you say incline can be controlled by test switch, do you mean "manual incline control" .. dial?   If so is it accurate through range and power off/on?   If so then that seems to imply the incline sensor (if it has one) works.

Why then doesn't program mode work I can't guess.    What you describe on the console with numbers flashing, does it only do that in program mode but not manual?

great video!  so manual or program, it's hung up @ 15 deg.  Right?  Even running so very crazy program like "Gunks MF" which I seem to remember goes Negative, doesn't move the incline?

I thought I'd posted a reply but guess it didn't take.

Great video.  Now does this imply that even when you run an extreme incline program, like I think Gunks MF, it stays at 15 deg?

I have a working Accent "The Rock " tread wall Im looking to sell Its in great working order all the preloaded programs work and manual adjustments I have the install and assembly manual for it. It has a large frame with wheels and jacks so it can be moved by a single person. located in iowa 3193271889 message anytime.  would consider trades for a used transit connect or similar.

For those of you who have used one of these—do you recommend it? How does it compare to the Brewer Fitness Treadwall? Looking at buying one locally. I’m not an engineer and the old tech is a little intimidating. Do you need to be a handyman /tinkerer to own one of these?

Depends on how good a shape it's in.   If it's been maintained and working, the most tech you'll have to do is if you plan on loading into it your own climbing profiles.   That involves installing a small program and adding (having) a serial port connection on your laptop for download/upload.

Thanks, Tibor. Apparently it is in very good shape. How do the programs work? Is its usefulness limited by the programming? The non-motorized versions don’t have any limitations, of course.

These rotating walls have two modes, straight manual control for speed and incline and a program mode where it's running a series of speed/incline sets for a predefined amount of time.  Example:

15deg at 30 ft/min for 3 min

0deg at 5 ft/min 2 min

-10 deg at 5 ft/min 3 min

The Rock is usually preloaded with 20+ programs.

You can PM me if you need the program package.

>>> BTW, I remembered wrong one of the parameters, there is no "time" component, rather it's Distance.  Makes much more sense -> Angle, Rate of movement, Distance @ Rate

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
