Aiders and daisies, what should I get?

I'm a trad climber looking to expand into aid. What are your favorite entriers? What are your favorite daisies?

I recently broke into aid/wall climbing and found this very helpful in selecting gear:

I ended up getting two BD 55" nylon daisy chains (I'm 5'10"), and two lightweight ladder aiders from runout customs. Personally, I found the ladder aiders easier to learn on than when using my friend's side-by-side step etriers.

From what I can tell, the kind of aiders you want to get depends on what kind of climbing/walls you're going for. If you're going for mostly free routes like half dome/nose/touchstone then a lighter aider is nice. If you're intending to do more aid-intensive routes with more time spent in the aiders, then you might want something beefier like the Yates wall ladder.

Hope this helps! Anyone else can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

Buy Andy Kirkpatricks book and Pete’s book. That will speed up how much money you’ll spend!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
