How's it looking after last weekend? I'm hoping to get a day in soon.

There are several webcams you can check.

All that snow will melt soon. With that said, go to Joshua Tree. Too cold at Tahquitz.

Thanks for the link and the advice. Do you think there will be another warm day this season?

Yes there will be. but things will be wet & seepy for a bit.

Webcam is the best thing to watch. We climbed on January 2nd last year. It wasn't exactly fun though : )

Ya correct. Too cold jtree is best. Nothing to see at tahquitz/suicide anyways.

Enough joking (sort of, locals only from November to March) anything south/west facing will be fine. What routes are ya fixin to climb?

Well I wanted to do Whodunit, but now I'm thinking Open Book or Dave's to PP to URA.

You will def be too cold on Daves to PP, sun only, OB is a good one in winter later in the day.

Prime conditions for routes like Chingadera...

Climb face in the sun in Idyllwild during the winter. Go to Joshua Tree for cracks this time of year.

I just stopped by Humber Park, solid 4 in of snow on the ground, I'll bet there's plenty of dry Rock but the approach is going to be a little wet through the weekend.

Picture is from lower Humber parking

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
