Looking for TR/Sport Partner in newton area!
I am an experienced gym climber with minimal outdoor experience. I live right near Hammond Pond and would love to explore it and other areas! I have a car, ropes and other gear for TR/ |

Recommend joining local climbing organization (SNECC) and taking hikes to check out areas before lugging all your stuff, especially if it’s not super far.. Reminder that climbing hasn’t been opened in many areas, and it’s important to think about COVID and risk still. |

Hi Charlie, I'm pretty new to the area and I think we are in the same predicament. I climb regularly indoors but still haven't found a partner yet. Maybe we could explore together and get our feet wet? I live pretty close to Newton (dover) so we have geography on our side. Can comfortably TR/Sport 5.9-5.10, bouldering V4-5 currently. Obviously would need to social distance/mask up but I have a home woodie as well PM me if interested Jeff |

Hey! Totally!! I’ll message you directly with my cell |
Charlie and Jeff, If you're ever up for the north shore I'd be happy to meet you there and show you around, great mix of climbs at Redrock, slabs, cracks, face, leads and TR's. I can get out on weekdays as well as weekends. Ryan |

Hi Charlie and Jeff, I live in Boston and I’m also looking for some more partners. I have climbed at most of the crags in the Boston area, so can give you some tips on what’s worth checking out. Wouldn’t dare call myself an experienced outdoor climber, but lead trad in the 5.7 range and sport in the 5.8/5.9 range (Just started visiting rumney) and have the requisite gear. Follow/top rope 9/10s. I’m down to play on the rocks locally, but prefer crow hill or driving down to rumney when there is enough time. My schedule is generally pretty flexible |

Also looking for new partners in the area - please let me know if any/all of you want to meet up for some physical distanced and masked climbing! I have never been to Crow Hill and would love to check it out Thanks! |

Awesome! Would any of you want to climb at hammond pond after work Wednesday or sometime next week? Otherwise, weekend of 26th, want to head to crow hill? I live in newton, where are you guys located? |

We have seven or so people on this thread. Why don't we make a WhatsApp group or something? Happy to set it up for us - if anyone wants to PM me their cell phone number Josh |

Hey guys can you add me to the whats app? I moved into the Boston area a couple months ago and have been hitting some of the local spots. Have all the gear needed for TR and sport. |

I'm in the area and always looking for new partners. I have a trad rack, happy to put up TRs for folks, and also have 2 pads and enjoy bouldering as well if folks are interested in some pebble wrestling. |

Hey, I'd love to get in on this group if there is space. In Wrentham and getting back into trad after some years off the rocks but did a lot back in the day. Starting out slow, keeping leads under 5.7 for now, but also up for sport or top ropes. Have rack & rope. 617-838-1440 |
