STOLEN from Tanner's Gulch 8/2/2020 7 PM  from the base of Minions of Chaos:

New Orange Gregory Stout 45 backpack

Most of the items have very little resale value but are personally valuable to me, including my tattered Granite Guide, lunch box, and grungy sun hoody.  Any information on the whereabouts of this pack would be much appreciated. No questions asked!  I don't need the pack or the gear back but it would be great the non-valuable items returned.

Thanks all. No place is a safe place to leave a pack! Lessons learned.

WTH!!! I'm so bummed this happened. Tyler and I were just on that last week and he was saying Tanners was getting a ton of use. The fact that the trail is actually not overgrown this year supports that people are hiking in there.

I've only ever seen non-climbers in there to ski or to walk in the very lowest part. Super disturbing that anyone would walk up that gully and take your pack.

Maybe a "good samaritan" thought it was abandoned or lost, carried it out and gave it too......????? Gear Room? IME?

I know, wishful thinking. I just find it extremely disturbing that a climber may have done this.
