Hey thanks for the exposure to Jinjer and the Raconteurs.  Not sure how I have missed them

As for Brandon Fields suggestion.....
I’ll pray for you (and call county services)

Rocrates,  It is inconsiderate to bring music into the woods or the crag.  No one wants to hear your music.  It could be considered distracting and unsafe if it inhibits communication between climber and belayer.  If you need to hear music while you climb, then bring a set of headphones.  Like poorly behaved dogs and children...it is better to leave them at home so that others can enjoy the crag and most importantly, climb safe.

Music gives me the push I need to send, and headphones fall out too much, especially on my current futuristic project.  The only thing that works is a speaker I can hear from the ground, even on pitches with high cruxes.  If other people don’t want to listen, they can bring their own headphones and listen to silence.

This should last for for a while ... 10 hours worth.

If it’s just me and the wife by ourselves I’ll bust out the Bluetooth speaker and listen to everything from The Doors to Flogging Molly. If other climbers show up I’ll usually turn it off. Unless they are bolderers, they obviously have no class and need culture in their lives

While I can't agree with blasting music and disrupting the relaxing sounds of nature, I am compelled to applaud your taste in music.

The local crag is right in town and across the road from a rail yard so the sounds of nature are the banging trains and the hissing of air lines.

There's this track, 4' 33'. Keeps the psych going for hours if you loop it.

Radiohead. In my headphones while night-soloing. Something pretty religious about that experience...
