Any ice/rock enthusiasts live in the greater Barnstead, NH area?

I just moved to the area and am looking to connect with some local rock and ice enthusiasts.  Splitboarding, WW paddling and surfing are all welcome as well.  Looking to get comfortable with some new partners locally for future trips to the whites in all seasons.  Cheers y'all.

Hey Emory, I live relatively close by and I'm hoping to get out at Stonehouse Pond on the occasional weekday afternoon / evening after work. Shoot me a message if you ever want to get out there. -John

Check out New Durham area too - Longstack, Rines, Devil's Den.... If you're in Barnstead that's local enough. Lots of trad less than a half-hour away. Lots of ice climbing in Conway area obviously.

I've been all over longstack but have yet to make it Devil's Den and have yet to climb with anyone from MP, but not for lack of trying!  It's become readily apparent that NH is full of amazing climbing and more importantly, vastly different styles of it as well.  Granite state indeed.

Devil's Den is a fun adventure if you have time to spare for the walk in or 4x4 questing up Class VI roads, both of which can make for a nice day if you have the time (I just don't usually as a parent).
Land of Overhangs & Outback Wall are probably your best bet.  Slab Wall gets grungy without use.
Also check out Mt. Molly.  Another quest, but lots of fun.
I'll send you a PM if I get some time in August - I've been tied up with some route cleanup / development lately.

I haven't made it to Devil's Den yet but am planning on it in the next couple of weeks.  I also start work this fall at a school just next to Pawtuckaway and plan on bouldering there frequently after work.  I've met a good deal of people and have gotten out with a couple but still looking for solid partners- especially for ice season.   Headed to Whitney G tomorrow which should be a great outing.

Garnsey- where the heck are ya?  When do you get back?  I head to the Adirondacks tomorrow after whitney G and Gary had to bail for Wallface, he is having shoulder issues again.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
