Sykes Sickle Access & Descent Conditions?

Anyone have any idea what to expect with the snow there? Just approach shoes good? 1 ax to zip line down a belay rope to the follower? Something more?

For the hike in, you don't need anything. Poles were nice for some snowy sections. The snow at the base of the climb was a bit slick, we did it with 1 yaxtrax and a nut tool, but slowly. Southeast descent is clear until you make it back to the snow at the base of spearhead.
