What do y’all think are the most sandbagged areas in Colorado?

The whole state is soft except for my current, future, and past projects.

The Monastery. I think the hardest sport 5.10 I've ever done was Tabula Rasa.

There's some pretty hard 5.10+ in Unaweep. Likewise for St Vrain slab routes. They start feeling 5.11 to me around 10c.

Flagstaff in Boulder and Klettergarden near Redcliff. I’m a not a great boulderer but those two places shut me down hard.

No sandbagged areas. Some sandbagged routes. Sometimes right next to soft routes.

Helicopter, some stuff in rifle, most stuff near the Big Thompson, most stuff near gunnison. Really it depends on who got the FA

Flagstaff has some really sandbagged areas (weirdly enough other areas there can be pretty soft). I've heard, but not experienced that Lumpy Ridge is pretty sandbagged, both the routes and the boulders. IMO sandbaggery is mostly correlated with the date of the FA, older FAs have stiffer grades than newer FAs.

I think it's route by route and not whole areas, like everyone says boulder canyon is soft, go climb a classic Layton Kor trad line and you'll get spanked. Same with Eldo and Lumpy, it's less about the area, and more about when the FA was made that determines if it's hard or soft for the grade

Interesting to hear someone else had a similar experience haha I climbed at the monastery 3 years ago solely because I wanted to check out that route. I was pretty confident leading 10s and moderate 11s at the time, but Tabula Rasa absolutely spanked me, it became a bolt to bolt endeavor. Afterward, I TR’d the 11b to the right and it was one of the hardest moderate 11s I had tried at the time. I’d really like to get back there sometime and give those another go.
