Today 5/28/20, I found a rather large graffiti tag at the base of the Saigons. Almost certainly not climbers, but it was maybe 3 ft by 4 ft in blue letters.. I did not have my phone with me for a picture. I will contact the state park, but if anyone has means to remove it, lets here it and I will gladly help to remove it. I would hate to see this become a normal thing around here...
Damn, that sucks. Elephant Snot is an effective removal agent. It does require a fair bit of water, but fresh paint on granite that hasn't baked in the sun will usually come off pretty readily. I'm going up there first thing tomorrow for a site visit to talk trail work, I will take a look when I'm up there. Happy to get in touch with FOTL and Alan Tate about procuring a bucket of ES and can loop you in as well.
Terrible. I'm happy to contribute a few bucks for the removal to FOTL if that's the right place. I would volunteer this weekend but for being based in Boston + social distancing restrictions.

I've used a drill brush attachment with elephant snot. It can be a bit of a snot hitting the fan moment, throws snot everywhere, which is mandates good ppe. Goggles, facemask, clothes that you don't care about, and obviously gloves are a good start. Snot gives you a minor chemical burn if you have sensitive skin.
Worx makes a battery powered pressure washer that can draw out of any container. I find that it takes about a gallon of water per square foot. A five gallon spray backpack can work in a pinch. (The sprayer is really low pressure, but...)
A real pressure washer is best, maybe a local fire department can be talked into running a hose line if it's not too far?
Fresh paint on granite shouldn't be too bad. Especially if the granite is smoother rather than courser.
Feel free to Dm me if you need any more specific advice.
