I still don't understand why the Dems attacked Italy.

All these rules are gonna push people to climb outside, congregate in groups, and not follow the state's recommendations. It seems as time goes on things are becoming more and more strict. It should have started out with mandating masks, sheltering in place, and dramatically limiting group sizes. I feel as though we'll start seeing an increase in climbing-related injuries/deaths because a lot of climbers are gonna transition from the gym to the great outdoors with little knowledge of how to climb correctly and safely. I saw it this weekend in CO, large groups gathered at the crags, no masks, no 6ft distances between strangers, no hand washing, no temperature taking, and people instructing a newer climber (poorly) on how to clean and anchors right before they head up the route. It's outdoor season, and people are gonna capitalize on it.

it's true, and that similarity means that masks are as good as clown make-up, because similar is actually synonymous with same.

i'm curious why this moment in time is the line in the sand for civil liberties, as opposed to like... the past 20 years (or longer depending who you ask)? i demand a record of all your political opinions since that big september thing in new york.

i'm also confused as to why people aren't putting pressure on wealth-hoarders to fix this. why go after governors when you could go after jeff bezos or something? he has the wealth to pay for universal testing in a day. i think that it's possible to see the rich and powerful for the garbage that they are while also maintaining free thought and covering your face to protect yourself and others. you don't "lose" by wearing a mask.

in case your All-In-One-Wakey-Wakey-Red-Pill-And-Erectile-Aid hasn't yet kicked in,  the rich have been maintaining a bargain for some time now: some may live in relative comfort at the expense others' misery. it seems like people who were getting "the good end of the deal" based on where/when they were born are getting a whiff of how the other half lives and its triggering childhood trauma, sorry bout ur mean dad bro :(

what would convince you to wear a mask, other than my razor sharp snaps? like if everyone around you was dying, would you wear a mask to the gym?
what if 50% of people around you were dying of a communicable disease?
25%?
where's your line and what are your heuristics

i am genuinely interested in what's going on inside your head.

but alas...

You sound jealous of rich people. Work hard, save your money and make smart choices. Then, you can be one of those people you envy.

Just pull yourself up by your bootstraps, like me! I was born into a poor family, and I went to school in a school district with no resources. I had to work instead of learn during high school, but, thankfully McDonalds hired me. I've worked really hard there, making just enough to survive, and now I'm manager. As you see, I didn't need an education to make good choices. Nor would I have had a leg up being born into a rich, white family. Anybody can become rich and powerful like me with some hard work and good choices.

Of course. When I was growing up, in my evangelical megachurch we meditated upon biblical quotes like this one "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God" Hebrews 13:16.

We learned that sharing is caring.

Can we not have Stone Toss comics on Mountain Project? That shit is literal neo-Nazi propaganda. And I don't mean in the sense of sensitive liberals calling everyone who disagrees with them a Nazi, I mean actual talk to you about the "Jewish question" Nazi.
