Sasha Digiulians Trilogy Free Stream 5/2

I was fortunate enough to support Sasha as she climbed three 5.14 bigwalls in the Canadian Rockies. In addition to completing all the climbs in one summer, she also did each route "in a day" on the final push. Due to Covid-19 this film is no longer touring the country with the Banff Film Tour, but instead will premier online at Outsidetv (one day only) tomorrow (5/2) 9pm EST . Dont miss this great story! https://www.facebook.com/sashadigiulian/videos/515290362471658/ |

Sorry, but there are just too many bad ass woman in this community to give acclaim to this influencer. Damn, This is a link to a video of Sasha climbing some of the hardest routes in Canada . If you have beef with the way she climbed something in the past, you should probably just let it go. That’s a whole lot of hate to carry around . In my climbing career I have made a ton of mistakes , and am always learning to climb in better style . Luckily I don’t have a million people analyzing my every move and nitpicking what I do . Either way , at least we can start bumping this thread so other people can watch the film and judge for themselves . This was truly a super human achievement |

Regardless of what you think of Sasha Digiulian, the chance to see footage of three rad walls in the Canadian Rockies is rare and exceptional. And, I personally applaud her for going to college and learning how to leverage her assets to make a legitimate career out of what she loves. Shit talk her all you want... I’d love to have one of her many big wall free ascents on my tick list. |

Doesn’t she have a marketing degree? |

Also, agree, there ARE too many badass women in this sport. |

Don't forget she and Carlo waving the American flag atop of the Eiger like they just did the first winter ascent of K2. The whole of Europe cringed. |

I saw this docu-film a week or so ago. Paid $10 to Boulder Climbing Community for the viewing and it was worth it. |

Has anyone climbed the Peanut at Smith? |

Cole D wrote: Obviously she plays the sponsored athlete game very well. She plays the cute entitled female card even better - not to the degree of someone like Sierra Blair-Coyle, but enough that I get the hate. That said, the climbs look pretty awesome - I'll probably watch - but expecting some cringe to go with it. |

It's spectacular stuff, no matter what you think of how she managed her career as a pro....and, uh, how is your sponsored athlete thing going, eh? Smells an awful lot like jealousy, kids. |

Cole D wrote: This clearly seems to be a don’t hate the player hate the game situation. So f&$k Red Bull (& Adidas, etc)? Yeah, I can get down w/ that. Also follows that I shouldn't be watching it either. But I like Alex Megos (who lets his climbing do the talking), also sponsored by Red Bull. Wouldn't boycotting the brand also hurt the authentic athletes? Goes to show you that phrase has always been BS. |
