Wait a minute, what happened to stay at home people? Some of you were vocal on stay the fuck away from Moab but I guess decimating close knit communities within 2 hours drive from Denver is fair game?

It's kind of the other way around. They're asking people who visit Summit County to self-quarantine themselves for 2 weeks. So yeah, if you do go bandit some sweet Breck runs (massive amounts of laughter), prepare to hang out at home until April.

it's been brought to my attention that my posts regarding uphill access may be viewed as enabling people to get out amid this crisis. this was not my intention, and i fully expect everyone who reads this post to make smart and informed decisions regarding outdoor activities.

my apologies to anyone i've offended

Layers of ungroomed snow on top of packed groomed slopes.  Gee what could possibly go wrong?

Make sure you take your avy gear kids! Happy digging.

No worries. We were all young and invincible once.

But, since you're listening - you might want to watch and listen to today's Corona Virus Task Force Briefing.

Dr. Birx noted that there are reports from Europe that youngsters are unexpectedly being affected.

Also, hard surface transmission was noted as being observed to be a significant factor.

Be safe and healthy!

no offense, but i'm not really into taking advice from an administration that didn't acknowledge the crisis in the first place. here are some better resources:

None taken.

I get the impression that some folks are under the mis/disinformed impression that "only" the old and at risk will be affected by the virus.  That's not true. they're just the weakest and thus the first casualties.

Just double check before you go. Quite a few resorts (Loveland and WP off the top of my head) have now closed uphill access.

A lot of the local communities in CO are asking you to conform to their "locals only, brah" guidelines.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
