I'd just like to chime in with others who love this gym: I went there today with my GF at 2pm and it was entirely empty. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful getting us rental gear and doing my belay check. Two things I learned today that surprised me about G1:
After you pass your belay check, they don't give you a tag to wear, they just remember that you've passed and they make an effort to know every member of the gym! They treat their members more like a community where everyone knows everyone than just another barcode to swipe
If you show up solo and want to get on a rope, a G1 team member will give you a catch! I assume this is available only when they have enough staff on hand, but I've never seen a gym do this before
I was also pleasantly surprised to see a Kilter board fully running, with adjustable angle, 12x12 dimensions, with a full bolt-on and screw-on hold set. There is a Tension board as well. ET Englewood has these as well, but they're both broken right now (meaning the hydraulics are out right now). They were reseting some slab routes in the bouldering area today, which sort of surprised me given that the gym's been open barely a week.. I'm hoping the V7 I'm in love with stays up long enough for me to send it. The routesetting is really good at G1.. props to Keith North and his team.
You should check out Longmont Climbing collective, they have kilterboards and several adjustable walls.

Half the fun is filling out the waiver.
Honesty has it's limits and they say everyone has a price. I guess yours is $20?
I used to have this hunch that you were a little creepy. And I wondered if I wasn't being to harsh a judge with respect to that. But I guess if you testify that you indeed are a liar for a few bucks then either I take your word for that, or you are lying about it. End result is the same either way. It leaves an icky impression.

Oops, I stand corrected: they don't have punch passes at G1. Day passes are $22, with discounts for full-time students, as well as those under 17, over 65, or active military who all pay $18 per visit.
This is pretty in line with other gyms, I believe.
Fwiw - The Spot Denver lets members bring the same folks for free multiple times (maybe up to 4?), and has permanent happy hour ($4 pints) on the new taps for members.
