I’m really surprised Mammut is messing with their rope lineup so much. Before, you could choose a rope diameter, each of which had its own name (eternity/infinity/revelation/serenity,) and three dry treatment levels. Now, you have to choose alpine/crag/gym, rope diameter, sender/workhorse/neither, and dry treatment level. How again is this supposed to be simpler? Why on earth would they abandon their brand names? |

Looks like they made another version of the R1. |

Looks like grivel is coming out with some new screws (about time). Design doesn’t seem as nice as petzls imo. |

Pertex shell with Endurance coating (now called Pro?) isn't anything novel, it's what the last DAS used. Time will tell if the "Polartec" (come on...) cross core Aerogel stuff is actually something special I suppose. Durability is always the concern with Primaloft Gold. Wish they would have used the Hi Loft like in the last DAS, I'd consider buying it. At least they got over the Macropuff idea. That was poorly conceived. Stop sewing through your synthetic belay jacket shells, you dummies. Hyperpuff, Macropuff...at least this is a step in the right direction. |

I’ve had the chance to test out the new DAS and was pleasantly surprised at how warm it was considering the weight and thinness. Nothing new but good to see a quality synthetic parka making it back into the lineup. |

With all the PlumaFill marketing hype, I was shocked they went back to PrimaLoft. Maybe it had something to do with the whole stitched-through construction you mentioned. |

Fall '20 release for the new DAS per CS, if anyone was hoping for a spring/summer mountaineering jacket better look elsewhere. |

That’s an expensive jacket that will probably be packed out in the first year. |

In general, the OR show was better when it was in Salt lake City. Denver feels so far removed from the actual outdoors. |
