“Alpine ‘draws”

Unpopular opinion: calling a sling with two ‘biners an “alpine draw” is ridiculous and only for people that like to work the word “alpine” into their conversations with other climbers. “Extendables” is a much better name because they can be used anywhere.  I don’t do it regularly, but I have sport climbed with extendables when I couldn’t find my dog bones.

admit it, you were pretending to Alpine climb....probably fantasized about having a second rope to clip into that “extendable”

Ok hear me out, what if I use ‘extendables’ on Epinephrine?

But if you called "Alpine Draws" "Extendables" while doing a multi could someone confuse it with "Expendables" and question your gear?

Bro, extendable is 4 (!) syllables. Nobody has time for that. I just call them long draws.

It's not alpine unless you call for a heli rescue.

I'm guessing a trad loving ex girlfriend hurt you real bad to make you care this much.

My unpopular opinion is saying "dirt me" instead of "lower" like all the cool kids do is idiotic and confusing, but I would never express that opinion on an internet forum, I just keep it to myself.

Your feats of derring-do have been noted.  Thank you.
