I don't know if Luke has already mentioned it on this forum, but they are looking for contributions to fund an anthology of articles.  Prolly could have don't a better job of titling my thread:

I noticed that the spines make a larger image when lined up, but I don't have all of the issues.  What's the picture?  Or is it a secret?

Good eye. We started this with Volume 6. The spine will end up being the Painted Wall in the Black Canyon. We started the zine in Gunnison, so it only felt right to use that wall...

Here's the photo. I think the mark is Vol. 15. So will likely be a while before it fully forms...
