I cut all my own firewood. That is an ash tree that blew over in a storm last winter a few days after thanksgiving. Field was frozen so I drove out there and cleaned it up. I burn mostly wood. keep the thermostat @ 50 so it never comes on when I am home. The furnace only runs on weekends when I go up north to climb. Stove is stoked sat morning and the furnace probably doesn't kick on until 9am sunday . Only using about 25 gallons of heating oil a winter ;) It's 78f in the cabin right now. haven't bought firewood in 30 years ..
