With that skinny of cord, I might tie a knot (much like you do in an anchor setup) to make it redundant if one of those strands of cord blew. Idk if this would be better or worse because of the strength loss but it's an idea. Seems pretty cool though I've thought of trying something like this out but never had the nuts... er... I mean balls to do it

At the very least, OP should tie a proper knot in the cord. IDK what sort of voodoo knot we're looking at now.

Thanks, I took a 20 foot whip on it yesterday and it held!

It does say in the description on Amazon it could be used for "hole exploration." They even say if you are not satisfied, you can send them e-mails.
