Hey friends! Super stoked to be back in southern Nevada for a while!
I'm after both sport and trad. For sport, I like to lead the hard 10s, and I'm working more and more in the 11s. I like to push the boundaries, and I'm fired up for the try-hard. For trad, I've learned that 'round here I'd better check who made the FA, and what year. I've led some 9's in the Mecca, but I also felt fairly shut down leading the odds on Frigid Air Buttress, so go figure. I'm conservative with estimating my own abilities out of respect for my partner and knowing my limits. Let's say 8 lead and 10 follow for now. Most of my trad experience has been crack-protected face climbing, and my crack technique needs some work (jam what now?).
Ideally, I'm looking for ongoing partners for repeat climbs. There's something extra cool about the easy companionship that comes with regular partnership, and as most can probably relate, climbing confidence builds with trust over time. Given the right compatibility, in the long term I'd like to plan more travel abroad.
I'm available all day on weekends, and weekday afternoons at 1pm (earlier with advance notice). I'm up well before the sun, and I love an alpine start. I'm quiet, attentive, easy going, always learning, and I keep good jerky on me at all times. The rack includes doubles 0.1 - 3, nuts, tricams, plenty o'slings, quickdraws, and a 70m rope.
Let's get after it!
