Hey campers!  Canyon will be closed from Saturday morning 8am to Sunday morning 8am for roadwork/blasting.

Does anyone know if the canyon can be accessed at all during these times if we take the Poorman loop down to fourmile?

Thank you for this, I was under the impression that the work was over so this helps me know what my options are.

Anybody know if the Boulder Falls trail is really closed? OSMP sign say closed as of Monday, CDOT website say only the parking lot is closed but trail is open as of today...

Last I knew, they were saying that worst-case scenario is that work finishes 2021. They also brought up the possibility of a total closure for 2-3 months and getting it all done. As it stands now, with four-hour closures Mon-Thurs, they can only actually blast about eight hours per week because of set-up and clean-up time.

The full-time, long-ish term closure was my preference back when this all started. But now that we've dealt with it all summer and will be dealing with it all winter, hard to stomach. From a skiing and climbing perspective, April/ May would be my choice. Just work 24/7 until it's done.

Does anyone know the deal with closures for this weekend?

Yeah but it’s an enormous inconvenience for a short period of time, as opposed to a mild inconvenience for a long period of time.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
