Where can I get a bolting permit for devils lake?
|

Hey Guys! I'm new to the area and I was wondering where id be able to get a bolting permit. Should i contact the WCA or go directly through the park service? Since its a state forest technically its fair use right? Do i even need a permit? I was hiking through the crag and i noticed very little development, so i figured it be a good idea to set a few lines up. Thoughts? Opinions? |

There are no existing bolts at Devils Lake and none are allowed to be placed. Period. No Bolts at Devils Lake |

You should start with Big Bud it's really high and scary. |

Don’t waste your time with the WCA: for permission you need to apply to the DLFA. |

No permits necessary, I have bits, epoxy and glue ins (leftover from retro bolting efforts) to contribute. |

The locals will pound pitons into your bolt hangers. |
