I would hope 3200 would buy me a climbing wall... I'd pay 500-1k for that puppy, It is awesome and well built (seemingly).

mpech wrote: I guess I'm your market? I think I'd be willing to pay $500, shipped, tops for it. The problem is that you made a really nice/expensive version of something that can be made much more cheaply. Doesnt 3200 buy a moonboard? $500 doesn't even cover the steel, much less the paint, wood, labor, and jawn. I provided lengths and widths so an inquisitive mind would be able to gather cost information on their own. Valid point about being able to build a campus board more cheaply, the problems with those are they are rickety, look like shit, and I didn't want one in my house. The implement I built will last forever and can be taken with you...as long as your house is big enough. Mine won't be after we downsize at the end of the year. Thanks for looking

Impractical is a nice word. Absurd maybe getting warmer. There's no demand for what your trying to supply. Sell it for scrap? Donate it? Repurpose it? Just because it cost you x amout does not mean other will value it at x price. Free market economics. You are gonna take a big lose or you are gonna be keeping it.

If I learned one thing from my college econ class, this would qualify as a sunk cost. Best of luck to seller. Could probably get a decent tax write-off by donating it to a non-profit failing all else.

You can have a full moonboard kit with LEDs and everything shipped from the UK for less. $2,833 Euro or $3,157 USD - Add in $100 for 2x4's, screws, and a drill.
