Yeah but at least break down more of the moves it's the world's hardest gear protected climb for goodness sake
Climbing is not about the numbers. It's about the struggle and community and the vid captures that well.

Crazy route and he is strong as hell, but video is meh
Rise is an amazing video and an amazing accomplishment in Trad climbing. Knowing all the other amazing trad climbs Jacopo has done I can only imagine at the difficulty and dedication it took to send this route.

I assume the video doesn't focus on gear placement because he is clearly using totems but is sponsored by black diamond (see 11:47, 12:11)
Fair thought. I am the one climbing in the video and it’s my own route. I appreciate the feedback. It’s interesting to watch yourself climb. The best I can say Is the particular crack features are sandy, down sloping and flared making better pro than jams.

Fair enough, that makes sense in that case, sandy jams are the sketchiest feeling haha. Nice route though, it looks like it has a bit of everything in it!
Cool climb but man I kept tilting my phone to try to keep the actual angle of the climb, they made it seem like 40 degrees for half and 110 degrees the second half.
