I wonder why people believe that using unsubstantiated generalizations, stereotypes, and ad hominem speculation puts them on the moral high ground.

Get with the times, peeps.

"errors ceasing to be dangerous when it is permitted freely to contradict them"

What did Jefferson mean, and, should we also bulldoze the Pyramids in Egypt since they, in many ways, are monuments to the same worldview personified and memorialized by the confederacy?

Also, have you noticed that... just because amorality is popular doesn't mean its any less of an ERROR in the context of Natural Law?

"NATURAL LAW"... be a good name for a sport route up this here stone wall...

The answer is Naggers. Nobody likes naggers, and that's exactly how the perpetually offended sound.

Right, because slavery and reading some kid's potty mouth are a legitimate equivalency.

I think misogyny may indeed be a little troublesome.  Aren’t all those angry incels shooting up public places every other day a modern day problem?  The common denominator - hatred of women.

9/10 incels are motivated by route names.

Is anyone else offended by boring names? Gunks has quite a lot.. Jackie, Jean, Betty..
I'm cool with Miss Bailey though.. has a bit of character, same for Madam G.

Yes, "the" common denominator in mass shootings is misogyny.

That's why they only shoot women.

Being deliberately obstinate and literal, or just ignorant?

List of mass shootings where misogyny was a motivating factor:
Ecole polytechnic
Toronto van attack
Tallahassee yoga studio

Conveniently enough for a slave owner, he had no problem exercising tyranny over bodies.

Just focus on the grade and quality of the climb. Use an acronym for the name, if you want. We have one called Piece of Shit. Most just call it POS.

For a time, it was traditional for Burch to start posting pics of his hand-made knives... Is he back on here yet?

The cool thing about offensive route names is it works a lot of ways.We can mock Trump, liberal women, Rednecks, inbreds, Anti-Fa and the KKK (along with anything else you want).

If you need help with route names check out the band Pitboss 2000 (PB2K) on YouTube.

In just a few hours you have:

1) Suggested, without evidence, that people who disagree with you are aligned with white supremacy.
2) Completely made up a new definition of a word, "nag," to suggest that you are being unfairly being targeted because of your gender.
3) Associated crude route names with horrific tragedies.

You are definitely "with the times" as you mentioned earlier. Because these days it is quite fashionable to abandon any sense of proportion when debating social issues.

BTW, you don't need anyone to name a route for you. You can do your own FAs and name your own routes. You have an opportunity to set an example, what choice will you make?

Yep!  Some folks just refuse to be polite and climb.  Why can not we climbers respect others opinions, climb with each other and be polite?  Though I do agree, there is a point when some A Hole crosses the line and then needs to be schooled.  And there in lies the crux...where is the line?  Answer is strong women/moms to shape us dweebs.

You’re about to make some heads spin with that PB2K ref. Never did I think a day would come that I’d see a Pitboss reference on MP.

My understanding is that in recent years John LockJaw has realized and admitted that PB2K and OLC, though jokes, were insensitive and hurtful.

And I would have loved to see it. Dammit.

I'm of the opinion that sophomoric route names and frontal lobe development go hand in glove; at least that seems to be the case as I look back on the guidebook footprints where I left some tracks in my youth.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
