I wonder why people believe that using unsubstantiated generalizations, stereotypes, and ad hominem speculation puts them on the moral high ground. |

Just focus on the grade and quality of the climb. Use an acronym for the name, if you want. We have one called Piece of Shit. Most just call it POS. |

The cool thing about offensive route names is it works a lot of ways.We can mock Trump, liberal women, Rednecks, inbreds, Anti-Fa and the KKK (along with anything else you want). |

Rulty Z wrote: So what do we do here when a thread needs to die? Dog pics? Yep! Some folks just refuse to be polite and climb. Why can not we climbers respect others opinions, climb with each other and be polite? Though I do agree, there is a point when some A Hole crosses the line and then needs to be schooled. And there in lies the crux...where is the line? Answer is strong women/moms to shape us dweebs. |

You’re about to make some heads spin with that PB2K ref. Never did I think a day would come that I’d see a Pitboss reference on MP. My understanding is that in recent years John LockJaw has realized and admitted that PB2K and OLC, though jokes, were insensitive and hurtful. |

I'm of the opinion that sophomoric route names and frontal lobe development go hand in glove; at least that seems to be the case as I look back on the guidebook footprints where I left some tracks in my youth. |
