Most US shops don’t have these in stock yet.  I’ve read from some people that they think the smaller dragon fly’s (1-3) aren’t smooth and have a crunchy feel when contracted.

For those that have had experience with any size in the 1-6 range, how do you like them so far?  How do they compare to totem basics, master cams, and regular totems?

Thanks!

I have blue to purple. They are just like a more flexible mastercam with extendo slings blue to purple is blue to orange in mastercams the range is almost identical. The heads are the narrowest of any cam ive ever seen. Build quality it nice!

I have sizes 1 to 3. They feel super smooth new. I placed the 2 several times on the Hulk and it did start to feel grimy after. I cleaned it and that helped a little. But did not bring it back to 100%. I’m disappointed in it for that reason.

To me they feel more confident inspiring than X4s but maybe not as much as C3s. No small cam makes me as happy as a black totem. I wish totem made smaller cams.

Yep this is what I’ve been hearing.   So do you wish you didn’t buy them because of it?

The lobes are great and seem to bite pretty well. I really like the flexibility, too.

Comparing them to my basics, I was initially concerned about the range of the DMMs (since the trigger pull feels shorter than the Basics), but I think that's just due to the slight umbrella to Basic/alien lobes when unretracted (whereas the DMM lobes seem to rest perpendicular to the stem despite having no cam-stops). The comparison above to the metolius ranges is pretty spot on.

Mine started to feel a little grimy after ~20 pitches, but I was able to really get in there with a toothbrush and clean the small spaces between the lobes. After re-lubing them they feel even smoother than new.  I really dig them so far, but it is kind of a bummer that they seem to gum up so quickly.

I think I still prefer the Totems/Basics, but these are probably my next favorite little cams.

No, they still feel nice and the lobes do seem to bite well. And until the Z4s come out I'm not going to consider anything else

More narrow then C3s?  Or just any 4 lobe cam you’ve seen?

Haven't held them up head to head. But if you compar a 6 dragonfly to a .4 its a lo e+ narrower. Narrower than cch aliens by a few mm.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
