If I've learned one thing from this thread, it's the slightly clever trick of using an alias that's both (1) a normal name (Max), so I can use it without arousing any suspicion, and (2) another word or abbreviation of another word that is kind of a cool nickname (Maxx / Maximum), so if I get called out on using a fake name, I can offer a plausible excuse--just using my cool nickname.

But my creativity isn't super high now--can anyone think of things other than Maxx?  Something like Benjamin (which is not my name), and if I get called out, I could say something like "They call me Benjamin cuz I'm always lookin' for the scratch."  But I don't love that one--not as cool as Maxx.

Alternatives would include Cash because you're "money" or Kev because you're bulletproof (Kevlar)

We gave NPS the location of his litter. I never touched it. All my friends a dirtbags, the difference is my friends are good at it. Stash your pads and sleeping bag when you arnt using them. Change spots occasionally, and most importantly don’t steal from the employees who see you every day.

Until the jury has convicted am not impressed LEO's have arrested him, its business as usual for law enforcement to harass people of color, especially men. How often do they harass your white friends?

Ok it's not worth it but my 2 cents. Ryan has been consistent in what he has said. If he's accurate, well then he's been more than nice to try and handle this appropriately with the fuzz. If this kinda character were attempting to dwell in my area... giving his things to the fuzz lol nah... but I bet he would not appreciate my creativity. But this is the south where we don't understand the mini agressions or whatever the fuck those Cali morons deem unsettling.

His vagrant camp was within 300 yards of employee housing. I will continue to report his illegal camps , as long as he continues to steal from and harass employees. Since when did climbers become thugs who can’t work with law enforcement? God I hope you fellas don’t take me to the meadow, I can’t handle meeting badasses such as yourself in real life .

  I’ve worked with LE when rescues occurred in the mist corridor. They are reasonable individuals and do a fantastic job of keeping the peace. Seriously, Yosemite LE has to be one of the best departments in the country. For the other accounts accusing them of institutionalized racism, that is pure hogwash .

LOL having first hand experience with Devin or Max or whoever... and having talked to a few employees in the park about him, its hilarious to see how such a conflict evolves on a thread without mant of its commentors having any actual experience with the situation. Pure conjecture.

Maybe i should do a write up about my experience meeting Devin... a trip report perhaps.

Speak your truth matey, you’d be the first firsthand account from someone who’s climbed w/ me & at this point I’m sure all following are interested in hearing what I’m like from that perspective. 

Devins camp being 300 yards from an “employee” area doesn’t change the fact that you turned his crap in to LEO’s because he doesn’t fit into your crew and let your friends gear go without consequence. It’s purely hypocritical that you’ll complain he’s camping out of bounds, but say it’s ok to do as long as you are smart about. That’s just stupid. No body here is saying it’s not ok to work with the police, but to carry a pitch fork and torch to MP and selling someone down the river versus waiting for LEO’s or a judge to do their job, which I’m sure they are is sad. Leave the dudes lively hood alone and try to refrain from bragging about it unless you’re going turn everyone’s shit in. Jeez.

Is anyone going to accept that this is a troll? The likelihood he has enough internet to respond this frequently is slim to none. I could barely get a basic text out of the valley this weekend.
