Gonna open the throttle here.....

And neither the angels in Heaven above
   Nor the demons down under the sea
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
   Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams
   Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes
   Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;

                                   -Edgar Allen Poe

Not original or a haiku, or anything to do with climbing, but I just like that section of the poem and it’s stuck with me.
She must’ve been quite a girl.   Not much of a belayer though, I hear. ......could insert “Petzl GriGri” for “Annabel Lee” to minimize thread drift.

What is a Haiku?
Line one, five; line two, seven
And five in line three?
