Me and the wife, both climbers, are traveling to SLC to consider living here. We are living out of a pop up truck camper and are trying to find a low cost solution for parking our camper to sleep in. RV parks are more expensive than just renting an air bnb. We will do some blm stuff but are trying to stay in the city some and meet other climbers. We would be low impact and quiet! Can pay in cooked meals, belays, or good old cash.

Nick just some thoughts. You might say what you're looking to pay. Do you have a dog with you. When are you here and leaving. I'd also recommend you try posting on the Utah climbers group on Facebook.
IMHO driveways are tough in an urban environment like SLC because where do you use a bathroom, it's probably against code everywhere, no one's neighbors will like it. If you're looking to pay $5 per night the money is kind of meaningless so you may as well just ask if someone will do it for free. Also it might just be easier to rent a room from a climbers. Lots of folks have rooms empty at this time of year by the mouth of Little and Big Cottonwood canyons. Someone would probably rent you a room for $200-$300 for a 2 week stay.
Thanks Ken you bring up some good points! We are kinda new to living out of the camper. We are fortunate to have a bathroom so that makes things easier. It is definitely harder to do in the city. We seem to have things figured out between dispersed camping, cracker barrels, Walmarts, a few air bnbs, and a few nice MPers! In retrospect I would have planned ahead for this leg of our trip andtaken your advice about looking for a climber with a room to rent out. Others had some good ideas the sent to me via pm.. but I hesitate to post in public facing forum to avoid overwhelming them. Anyways thanks everyone.
