Uhhh..Sloppy,
Just to clarify, the decedents of ANY group cease to have any rights....effective immediately upon their death.

Edit:  aw dang.  Ya fixed it.  Good catch!

I think dead people still have some rights. That's what the judge told me after I was caught in the graveyard that one night...

Collectively, we could honor the 1868 Treaty of Ft. Laramie. We could give back the Black Hills. We could restore Lakota Nation.

Individually, we can encourage congressional representatives to support this position. We can support organizations that advocate for the rights of indigenous people.

Seems pretty straightforward.

No, no, no. Not what ‘should’ we do if this was a fairy tale world. What do YOU PERSONALLY do for Native Americans? Besides posture on the internet I’m betting absolutely nothing

I remind petulant disingenuous bozos like you about the 1868 Treaty of Fort Laramie

And I don't climb the Tower in June

;)

Yeah the Europeans never did anything like that...

I won't argue that, Euro's have been killing each other for as long as there have been people. Europeans and their descendants are the most efficient killing machines ever. I don't think it is even close. Maybe pneumonic plague?

We should actually all just go back to our historical beginnings in Europe/Africa/Asia , right, and leave this country to go back to nomadic warrior culture, where the way you advanced in your tribe was by kidnapping girls, scalping and stealing horses from other tribes???

If you read up about the plains tribes in particular, you will see that by taking away the nomadic/warrior aspect of the Plains Indians and forcing people on to reservations, the culture collapsed, and led to a lot of alcoholism. If your reason for being is the protection of your tribe, and attacking the other guys, and you remove that, what do you have left? Great warriors that don't need to fight aren't of much use in a sedentary culture.

You have to see both sides of the story here. Yes the Indians had their home ranges taken from them, but there were MILLIONS of people that needed a place to live, and more kept showing up. What would you tell them?  A nomadic way of life was just not possible alongside a farming culture. Something had to give. When Europeans settled down to farm, the Indians simply did what their culture taught them to....steal the animals, kidnap the women and kill the men...happened all over.

The Pol's out east only saw more and more people showing up on the shore of America, they had to make some hard decisions. Indians didn't vote, so I think you can see why they chose to involve the US Army...easier to remove the impediment to westward growth than to try and settle million and millions of immigrants in New England, and get voted out.

That’s a nice way to justify the genocide, farmers needed land to farm

I'm not making any judgements, certainly not justifying it.

It is much like what happened in Israel in 1949. All those people had to go somewhere....and they weren't going to make nice and live together.

And based on actual research, 90% of all indigenous new world deaths were caused by one thing, and it wasn't guns or steel: it was smallpox.  More victims of colonization were killed by Eurasian germs, than by either the gun or the sword, making germs the deadliest agent of conquest.

ADIT: I just thought of an apt metaphor...if you put two starving rats in a bag, do you blame the rat that wins of genocide for surviving?

Any sensible argument you may have been working towards or thought you had was lost right there. No valid argument so throw some mature words around. Gold star ⭐️ for you buddy. Besides my niece does play with dolls so you’re incorrect there, kids DO play with dolls.

Neither do I, but hope to in August (I know, the worst month).  Since you are in the neighborhood, will you climb in the Black Hills? That place has so many nooks and crannies, there really is a lifetime worth of climbs to do.

Tower climbs are special, no tourists, you have to work a little to get to the top.

Google Critical Theory.

Critical Theory is the basis of every university's social justice program. It is the single most impactful means of injecting Marxism into society.

So no, we will not back off from flagging out SJW's and when virtue signaling is happening. Because, fuck Marxism.

Edit 1: InB4 the ad hominem insults start flying. I reject Jordan Peterson as a RW virtue signaler.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
