I'm a moderately experienced trad leader of imposing mass at 264lbs Most of my climbing buddies have happened to be extremely lean. When they climb a 5.6 or 5.7 runout of 40 feet, it's often no big deal, because they're able to take advantage of holds too small to support my blort. Occasionally I like to do some new moderate multipitch trad routes in the 5.5 to 5.7 range, but sometimes climbs feel very different, based on your burrito consumption. Any fatclimbers out there with recommendations? I've been scoping out climbs that won’t fracture under my tremendous ass. Appreciate any insights!!

People don't know the struggle of having to bring twice the rations because you know you're gonna wanna snack. They've never flew off a sloper because they have butter or taco grease on their hands. Sometimes people pity me because I look bloody after an easy offwidth, but I don't have the heart to tell them it's just pizza sauce. I whipped once, the route is now overhung.

I'm heavier than you now, stuck in SF lifting instead of climbing, and I find easy slab climbing to be fun. Weight doesn't matter as long as my legs are strong. I climb mostly in the Dacks so I could only list the routes there. Roger's Rock, Poko slab, Chapel Pond Slab, Shipman's and TIlman's are good times.
Hit me up if you're ever in Nor Cal. I forgot what it like not to drag or pull my belayer off the ground. My partner in NY says catching me is like reeling on a big fish! haha

I could be an ice climber again. Haven’t done it in years though.

I'm one bad month away from buying a van and traveling the Western US. The only problem I run into is these vans don't have a big kitchen or enough storage for food.

cram that mass into, otherwise, heinous offwidth and laugh as your partners skin themselves alive.
