If I see more gumbies using a cordellette or quad at a bolted anchor I will hold Frank responsible for my actions!

Why is this a problem? Sure, it’s clunky, but why do you care so much? It seems like you mostly like to put gumbies in their place to ensure everyone else here knows that you’re definitely ‘not’ a gumby.  Gumbies are going to gumby and as long as they’re not killing themselves or others in the process, who cares?

An honorable mention! Who's taking up space in whose head? :)

LOL that’s awesome but seriously, I feel quads don’t take any much time, well at bolted anchors. I use a prerigged quad in bolted ice routes. I wear it like a gear sling. I get to the belay and boom like Batman’s utility belt I whip that baby out and it’s off belay in seconds. My partner is as fit as Batman so he gets to the 1st belay, I cough up some gear and he’s back climbing on lead in a minute.

If I see more crusty traddies using the rope at gear anchors I will hold Frank responsible for my cordelette quad action!

LOL I’ve been out climbing lately so I feel worthy to post on MP again.
