Unfortunately no, my one climbing partner is on the same boat as me. Plan on taking courses just want to be safe and learn.

No thanks, I learn by getting outside and pushing my limits. If I don't know how I ask, if its too much I back off and analyze. I don't need some dense book to teach me how to tie 1500 knots that I'll forget how to use by the time I need them.
