I have three of the black-sling Aliens shown in the picture above from my grandpa.  Anybody know what they are?  Trying to figure out if they are pre- or post- recall, etc., are they safe?

According to this recall thread, you should be able to tell whether they are affected by the recall by checking their manufacture date. All alien cams have the recall date stamped on the metal trigger bar (perpendicular to the cam stem).
