Haven't seen my climbing friend Max in almost 2 months.
Please pray for him.
He's not missing or anything.
I think he misses me though.

Touching poem, Salem, thanks for posting.

I know a climber called Max too.
He climbed 'Air Guitar'.
Max said "My body is too beat up now to climb, but I can still race cars."
But he is still a great guy.

I think you have a future, but not as a poet.

Why does Max need prayer?

I haven’t seen my climbing friend in a few weeks.
They’ve moved on, it’ll be longer till I see them again.
Tiny evidence of our moves vanishes from the boulders.
Soon they’ll need to be brushed again.

I had a partner
He held my rope all the time
but now it's just me

Partners scattered from east to west,
They moved - I moved
Now I'm depressed

Need a partner, need a friend,
I need someone to hold the other end

My son is too young to heed my call,
He'd zip off the ground if I fall

I'm in Seattle now,
Climbing the only way i know how,
A silent partner, a silent friend,
These lonely times need to end

There once was a climber from Nantucket...

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
