Mount Tallac

Does anyone know if the Mt. Tallac trailhead is clear/open? ...and if there is a decent skin track I can follow (not walk in) with snowshoes?

Most skiers won't follow the summer trail and I doubt many are skiing tallac anymore this season. Don't know if you can access the TH parking yet.

Yeah, I figure that about the summer trail. I was just hoping there would be some tracks I could follow. 

We skied Tallac last Saturday and while we we chilling on the summit three dudes popped up from the summer trail!  They were fully kooking out with shorts on...  They reported that the summer trail was mostly snow, although it looked mostly clear to me from the summit..  

I'd just ski it the regular way if i was you.
