How does everyone with a sedan attach/secure/transport crash pads over longer distances besides trunk and back seat?

I’ve got a 2015 Honda Civic, I don’t want to strap to roof but I might be getting desperate.

you could get a lightweight trailer hitch+luggage tray thing.

I’ve attached it to the trunk lid with a ratchet strap through the middle of the pad, with a microfiber towel underneath to protect the paint. Worked perfectly.

Roof is fine...

Bring a tarp just incase. You don't want to end up with a 45lb dish sponge.

take your back seats out.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
