Owl Tor summer conditions

Seems like fall is the best time to climb down there, but how sweltering does Owl Tor get in the summer? Is it as unclimbable in the summer as, e.g., Jailhouse? Does it get any consistent shade or breeze to keep conditions decent?

Try this in the Norcal forum! I was wondering why I didn’t recognize owl tor. Looks rad though!

Owl tor is climbable in summer but gets very hot. It stay in shade pretty much all day though. Best time is fall, warm winter days, and spring if its not too wet. "Tor seeps pretty bad in wet years".

Yes it's drilled. Yes it's also super fun climbing! That crag wouldn't exist without drilling. Go try it

Sweet, thanks! Just what I was looking for. Guessing it'll be too hot for me, so best to wait until fall.

I have known Phil for over 30 years  I know it’s going on.  Climbing or installing manufactured routes is not my thing.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
