Nice!!!! The first lead I ever did, of a climb with a real name was “Harry Daily” on the apron! I was well puckered cause, Sean fell and pulled the gear! So I was offered the sharp end... Sunny Side Jamcrack went down a few days later. Good times!!

Trad rope soloed a 30 foot V0 boulder by myself in the woods on a static rope. I count that as my first even though i was never gonna fall off the thing. :p

The downclimb off the Bong freaks some people out. I helped some lost folks last time I was scrambling there.

First trad lead: Trashcan in Jtree
Spent more time on the anchor than the climb.

The ramp, mission gorge. Slipped above a tiny gray TCU on my first try. I was really shocked when it caught me.

The main face at Williamson Rock around 1980 was my first trad lead. This was long before bolts became the standard there. The main face back then was 3 pitches protected with nuts and hexes. I do remember a bolt on the final headwall pitch but you could still get in a piece from time to time or even a slung stone. I climbed many routes at Willy that way until the sport climbing rage took over. I am sure Chris Owen and others can remember what it was like back then.
