Mr. Kammerlander looked rather sketchy in that video! Pumped out of his mind. Interesting also how he tries to deal with the fear, letting fear do its thing when resting and then composing himself again to find the neccessary concentration for the next bit of climbing. |

Certainly not nearly as good as Chris O'Donnell, Robin Tunney, or Bill Paxton. The special effects are better than Vertical Limit, but that's to be expected, since that was made like 18 years ago. (So I have no good explanation for you as to why Vertical Limit didn't get an Oscar, but this did.) It did have one of the same actors from that Dawn Wall movie. In fact, he played the same Tommy Caldwell character. It was like some kinda crossover or something. I wonder if they're doing an expanded-universe thing like Marvel? I'm curious if they have other films planned for these characters. |
