Y’all felt it was necessary to resurrect a dead 4 yr old thread of such vital importance? |

If I were smart enough to create a poll, I would really want to know how many dudes wear underwear that does not have a fly. I thought it was the weirdest thing when I first saw men's no-fly underwear over a decade ago and now it has become quite common. Makes no sense to me especially when wearing a harness. But, I have since learned that lots of my male partners have no use for a fly. |

I don't think I have worn underwear with a fly for at least two years, its a nice thing to have for a harness but it's still easy to do your business in flyless underwear. |

Follow up question, when dudes who feel a fly is unnecessary wear underwear WITH a fly, do you still do you business by reaching up and yanking down, or give in and use the incredibly bulky, techy, fly thing? |

This is a timely conversation. The proliferation of boxer briefs with a cock pouch is opening a whole new world of gratuitous consumption. Saxx merino are also very nice, although I was surprised that they didn’t immediately supplant the stance at the top of my list. |

Generally yes, unless I'm wearing a harness it's easy to pull down the front. I am kind of waiting for dead bird to eliminate fly zippers from all the men's shell pants, you know, perfection is achieved when there is nothing left to remove...Maybe just make 'em baggy and go with a draw string. If you have a zippered trouser fly do you pee through that or do you unfasten the top button? |

I love my ex officio underwear but I didnt pay for them..... I found them on the ground. |

Also whenever I pee wearing a harness I use the fly so I don't have to loosen my harness. |

Another vote for Saxx. I can now send 2 grades harder because my scroat doesn’t stick to my leg. |

Don't get me started on climbing shorts without flys, or worse yet, the Prana shorts with the fake fly (looks like a fly but no opening or zipper) - frabricated for looks only. Finally, a gear thread just behind one about the meaning of life for significance |

Here, more than anywhere else, is where we really need to be asking, "What is the right thing to do?" |
