Anyone have a suggestion on how to repair this if possible? Thanks.

Cut off the sling and clip a carabiner directly to the cable. I've never seen a C4 do that before.

Send it back to BD.

Pretty sure they break easier that way and BD recommends against it. And maybe cut the sling easier without the coating on the cable.

I’d send it to BD. It’s a liability now.
If I was in a desperate situation I’d wrap a bunch of tape around the cable but clearly you’re not in a desperate situation.

Removing the sling will reduce the strength by about 2 kn, still a bomber piece just no extension. That being said if you can get a new one from BD...

BD really helped my out.  They happily replaced it free of charge.

Ha I've had a #3 that started happening to.  Most of the plastic is still on there but cracked and I just covered it in electrical tape.  Good to know that BD will just replace that no questions, I'll have to send that in soon.

BD CS always done me right

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
