Jaren, the specific message posted by Briggs that I quoted mentioned only one crime. The crime of rape, which is much more serious than theft, both in the act, and in the accusation. Therefore, I think that if one is going to repeatedly accuse someone of such a terrible act, it would be best if they have there facts straight.

I just don't believe that. I have no idea if Shawn raped anyone but to assume that because authority said he did, he did, is flawed.

That said, his constant lies and distortion of events certainly don't help his case.

Edit. And Dean Potter sure seemed like a chill person that wouldn't reach out to authorities over something unless it was indeed serious. I have no idea though, sadly never had the chance to meet him

Shawn was banned for 3 days, and the park was considering longer term action. I do not know if they reached a decision, but I really hope someone with some authority stopped by here or super taco to discover that Shawn is, indeed, a menace.

I think it’s funny how much of a following mr Snyder has. He’s pretty popular on this site and around the community. As stated before, enjoy life in your own shoes an don’t waste valuable minutes of your potential energy on this guy. He loves the negative attention. Everyone knows that and yet still takes time to follow the trail of crumbs. I’ve lived in Terrebonne for 8 years and worked at smith for the same time frame. I’ve met Sean and talked to him on many occasions. He can be a nice guy in conversation but he does have a psychological BPD. Remember that. He will always go to the crag that gives him the most negative attention. It makes no sense and yet it doesn’t have to. It’s what is observed not what is believed. If we stop caring, he’ll move on to some other place where he can fuel his drive. I know I’m on this site doing the same thing giving him fuel and at the same time I would love to see this thread and all others related to him end. I know this will never happen but a girl can dream.

Dave E., please tell me you're not this dense. Perhaps briggs could have written it out a bit more thoroughly but I think we all recognize that he's making an analogy and "which he did" refers to going to jail/prison (disclaimer, I've seen no links to a criminal Hx database, so I have no idea if true but...would be easy to prove/debunk, so I'd be surprised if anyone was making it up).

The vandlism, thievery and petty behaviour on routes and at crags in and around Smith rock is overwhelming and unnacceptable. I watched footage from earlier today of this cown attempting to kill some guys with a hammer while SIMULTANEOUSLY vandalizing routes and putting his garbage rebar ladder rungs. Shawn, you are a stain to the outdoor community and do far more harm than good.
