How soft is the "sole"? Many approach shoes are stiff and not comfortable for long hikes. How would you rate these? Shipping to CO? Thanks.

I assume you're asking me, not the seller. They're stiffer than sneakers and more flexible than my Asolo hiking boots. I wouldn't choose them for a backpacking trip but mine are great for a couple miles to a crag and great for approach scrambling.

Sole is soft enough that I doubt you'll have issue

In my experience these are similar to street shoe sizing if that helps.
