The Ohio Climbers Coalition is hosting a big Adopt-a-Crag out at the Mad River Gorge at the end of September. We'll be working with the Access Fund Conservation Team on Saturday, September 29th to do a ton of stewardship work (retaining wall/stair/trail building and trash cleanup), that night we'll be having vendors, raffles, silent auctions, games, food, and beverages at the camping location, and then Sunday a shoe demo, clinics, and climbing fun. If you are interested in more information, check out the following links:
Yes, it is family friendly. We'll have projects for people of all ages and abilities, and Sunday will be a great day filled with climbing, clinics, shoe demos (SCARPA and Black Diamond), and some hiking tours with the park district. If you are interested in joining us, make sure to visit the website above to sign up. We are providing free dinner to all volunteers (who pre-register ahead of time) on Saturday night. If you have any other questions, just let me know!
