But on a serious note, to answer you serious inquiry,  Fixe sold the same ropes branded by another name. I have  2. Not top shelf, they get stiff quickly, if you simul-rap on gri-gri they coil like mad after 1/2 dz. raps, which is always fun at the end of the day. On the upside, they are workhorses, i have 100's of pitches on one of them, no soft spots, no tears. More a project rope than a send rope.

Things that are negatives about the "non-Ted" rope:

1. Not Ted-approved
2. Dry rope (pfft - what, are you climbing Misty Wall?)
3. Not "cured" in Florida
4. 25% off, but no $5 Ted discount
5. Never had a 7-page thread

Those retail ropes have no bumps in them, either.

Hello friends, admirers and participants to this journey of a thread.

Due to concerns of sky fall, I will be rescheduling my travels to the Rosy Gorge of Kentucky to the first light of June.  I will remain there for 2 handfuls and depart June 10th.  I will have the rope with me if any party is interested in viewing its glory.  

Personal autographs will be free upon arrival but please be considerate.  The hands are weak after a long day at the crag and the exhausting nature of requesting my Hancock on your nutset should not be taken lightly.

Cheers and Thank You all for keeping this thread thoroughly viewed.  Hopefully one day you may ascend into the MP glory as I have.
