Trip Ideas (Sierra/Pacific Northwest)?

I'm in the process of planning a family vacation for the end of June and looking for some trip ideas that will allow me to get a few days of climbing in.  Preferably Sierra or Pacific Northwest.  It would be myself, my wife and two kids (4 1/2 and 1 1/2).  None other than me climb right now.  Ideally we'd be able to get an airbnb; camping isn't an option at the moment unfortunately.  I'd like to be able to get in a few days of climbing of high quality easy to moderate multipitch, and also have stuff to do as a family on non-climbing days.  Some sort of creek/river or lake would be a definite plus.  We were thinking of Yosemite but can't find any lodging in the park, as everything seems to be booked, but that gives you an idea of the type of environment we are looking for.  Any suggestions are most appreciated!

You could access Tuolumne Meadows from Lee Vining, which is a half hour drive from TM, or Mammoth, which is about an hour's drive. Mammoth is a much nicer town, although further away and pricier. There is a lot of climbing around Mammoth, also, but not sure how much multipitch there is nearby. Mammoth has lakes, as requested!

Edit: Your wife doesn't climb, so you'll be looking for a climbing partner? Don't think staying in Mammoth or Lee Vining will make that easy. Good luck, unless you hire a guide.

Thanks for all the suggestions.  Squamish looks like it might be a perfect fit.  Any particular rest day activities there?  Also, does Squamish (not just the climbing, but the overall area) feel as "grand" as Yosemite?  Hard to tell from the pictures that are coming up; probably because it is a less tourist-ed place the Yosemite.

Maybe not as "grand", but the surrounding mountains I'd definitely call grand. Garibaldi Lake is spectacular and should be melted out by then, lots of other good mellow hikes in and around Whistler as well.

Comparing scenery for Squamish vs Yosemite is somewhat apples and oranges. El Capitan vs glaciers and ocean; which is better? Kind of pointless. Squamish is spectacular, you won’t be disappointed.

Activities to do in Squamish: lots of lakes to swim in. Hikes. Touristy Sea to Sky Gondola stuff.Other touristy stuff in Whistler. Rent mountain bikes; lots of mtb trails. Rent kayaks and do sea kayaking.

Hi,

I'd like to know what I should do tonight.   I'm feeling up for some yoga, but also sometimes it's nice to stay in and cook a great meal.

Thanks!
